I really love how that guitar sounds towards of jillie bean wow. Many picture discs do sound good. The bass is great every layer of every song is so vivid and fresh. Btw i am using a 2m black cartridge.

If you want a cool looking mj picture disc then pick this up but if you are wanting good quality sound buy the plain vinyl or an original. All six of jackson s studio albums from 1979 onwards off the wall 1979 thriller 1982 bad 1987 dangerous 1991 history 1995 and invincible 2001 are included in this series with the last three all double lps. I have not heard any of the other vinyl releases but i cannot imagine that they are any better. They have their place and many will tell you that the quality of picture discs have improved over the years.
