Make sure the surface is free from dust clean dry and suitable for tiling.
Tiling curved surfaces.
Get a ruler and position it so that it runs from the centre of the circle or curve to the tile.
A common example of curved wall tiles is the faces of jacuzzi surrounds or specially designed bathrooms.
You would assume that you need to cut it on a curve because the drywall is curved but the individual tiles are so small that you can cut it straight at an angle and fill the rest with grout.
While the normal way of curving wall tile in this instance is to use 1 inch tiles on a sheet you can also modify larger tiles to work in the same fashion.
Draw a line on the tile where the ruler runs this is your cutting.
And it doesn t draw your eye because all the grout lines are different.
Step 1 install sheet tile as normal to curve it around a wall.
Find the centre of the circle or curve position the tile so that the maximum surface area is against the edge of the circle or curve.
Tile from the bottom corner of the curved wall.
Start in the corner section.
Also there are a lot of tools that could assist in fitt.
Inspect the ceramic mosaic sheets to make sure there aren t any broken or damaged tiles and ensure that you have.
